Abigail Ringel
Real Estate Negotiator & Appraiser
Abigail (Abby) Ringel joins Jewell with extensive experience with a full range of real estate and appraisal services. She will be completing a variety of tasks in the real estate unit. This includes making appraisals, completing residential and commercial relocations and negotiating right of way acquisitions.
Abby began her real estate career at Steiro Appraisal Services Inc., advancing from assistant to appraiser and working on residential, commercial, industrial, and government properties. She then joined WisDOT, gaining expertise in appraisals, acquisitions, surplus property management, relocation, and project oversight, including the STH 15 majors project. As Local Program Real Estate Manager, she led policy development, guided local agencies, collaborated on legislative changes, and trained staff. In her final role as a statewide review appraiser, she analyzed complex appraisal reports for compliance with federal and state regulations.
Abby is from the Northeast Wisconsin area, and currently resides in Howard, WI.
Abby is an avid rock climber, even making the podium in a couple competitions. To balance out her need for extremes, she cross stitches. She enjoys traveling across the country backpacking and camping at beautiful and often unexpected locations. Abby’s adventure buddy, her husband, is usually at her side, pestering her into taking the “jeep route” and finding BigFoot. When they aren’t gallivanting about, they do a little ghost hunting and hang out with their two dogs. Abby’s adult daughter also keeps her busy with shopping, nail appointments and theme park vacations.
