Ellery Schaffer is a Wisconsin Professional Engineer specializing in highway design. Ellery serves as the Transportation Director for our highway and bridge design departments overseeing all areas of transportation design services at Jewell. He also continues to manage highway and bridge design projects throughout Wisconsin. Ellery serves as the town engineer for Town of Spring Green and is on the Board of Directors for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Wisconsin (ACEC-WI). Ellery is an owner and serves on the Board of Directors at Jewell.
Ellery holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville (UWP). He grew up in southeast Wisconsin, and now resides in the Town of Spring Green with his family.
Ellery and his wife Courtney have two children, a son Cole and a daughter Kendall. Cole currently attends UWP studying civil engineering and Kendall is 13 and attends River Valley School District. Courtney works in customer service at Cardinal IG, a leading manufacturer of insulated glass located in Spring Green.
Outside of work, Ellery enjoys spending time with his family boating, traveling, and spending time outdoors. He also coaches multiple youth sports teams for his daughter Kendall.
