In 2023, Jewell Associates Engineers, Inc. celebrated our 30th year of providing professional engineering and architectural services. We have planned for the next 30 years by transitioning out leadership and ownership over the past several years.
With offices in Spring Green, Wisconsin Rapids, Madison, Eau Claire and La Crosse, the Jewell team is strategically located to provide transportation engineering, civil engineering, land surveying, real estate negotiations, structural engineering and architectural services for a wide range of private and public clients. A few years ago, we updated our strategic plan which included realignment of our organizational structure and key leadership for the future. The plan recognized the need for leadership transition as the next generation prepared to take over direction of the company. This transition of our key leadership assures our employees and clients that Jewell is prepared for the future in providing a great place to work while providing superior services to all our clients. We are proud to see the results of these transitional changes as we continue to grow and develop as a team.
The Jewell Associates Board of Directors was adjusted to reflect the current organizational structure with Paul Kardatzke as Chief Executive Officer, Jenny LaBatt as Chief Financial Officer, and Noah Anliker, Robert Hanold, Ellery Schaffer, Jeff Smith, and Scott Whitsett as Vice Presidents. Scott Whitsett provides leadership of the Construction Inspection and Municipal/Civil groups, while leadership of the Transportation Design group is provided by Ellery Schaffer, with Robert Hanold leading the Transportation Structures group. For our services in addition to engineering disciplines; Paul continues to lead the Architectural group, Noah Anliker leads the Survey group, and Laura Humphrey leads our Real Estate Negotiation Services group. We are excited to work alongside Mike Bakalars, Andrea Ring, Dan Gerling, Dan Tracy, Nick Pehler, Nate Lipinski and others as they take on the challenges and responsibilities of increased leadership and management.
As we look ahead after this phase of leadership transition, we have been pleased with the strength and agility our organization has shown over the years. It is a testament to the engaged leadership of the Jewell Board and the professional commitment of our employees. The next generation of leaders at Jewell are evident in our great group of emerging professionals. We continue to encourage participation in leadership development opportunities offered by ACEC and provide opportunities for professional development with ongoing projects and technical training.
We look forward to continuing to provide our clients innovative engineering and architectural solutions by investing in our employees, relationships, and the communities in which we live and work.
